Harriet Walter in Boa at Trafalgar Studios 2
Acclaimed Actress Appearing Alongside her Husband Guy Paul in Clara Brennan’s New Play in February 2015
The Trafalgar Studios 2 has plenty of shows to occupy its auditorium in the months ahead, with Not About Heroes on its stage until early December and plays such as Sikes & Nancy and Donkey Heart set to replace it as the weeks roll on. Now another production can be added to that list as the renowned actress Harriet Walker appears alongside her husband Guy Paul in Clara Brennan’s Boa from February.
Both performers are experienced actors whose work has been experienced by those with theatre tickets for many years. But with Boa they will be appearing in the work of a writer whose rising-star status has been cemented by numerous shows in locations like the Soho Theatre and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in recent years. Her recent works have included Spine in Edinburgh and the Soho, plus the numerous short plays that appeared for the likes of Theatre Uncut.
With Boa, Brennan has put together a piece that looks at love through the lives of Louis and Belinda, with a thirty year relationship explored affectionately onstage.
Harriet Walker has entertained London theatre audiences for many decades with performances with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Royal Court interspersed with Donmar Warehouse, National Theatre and West End appearances. Her credits include Julius Caesar at the Donmar Warehouse, Women Beware Women at the National Theatre, Antony And Cleopatra for the RSC and Mary Stuart at the West End’s Apollo Theatre, among others. She has also made an impression onscreen with recent film credits that include The Wedding Video, The Young Victoria, Atonement, Babel and Bright Young Things, to name but a few.
She is an acclaimed actress who has picked up numerous accolades over the years and will surely encourage many in the capital to make their way to Whitehall when this show opens in February.
Harriet Walker and Guy Paul can both be seen in Clara Brennan’s Boa under the direction of Hannah Price at Trafalgar Studios 2 from Monday 9th February 2015 (previews from Thursday 5th February 2015) to Saturday 7th March 2015.
