Keira Knightley to make West End return
Keira Knightley is set to tread the boards of the West End again as is due to take a role in a new production of The Children's Hour.
The actress will co-star in the play with Mad Men actress Elisabeth Moss, who appears in the role of Peggy in the show, Baz Bamigboye reported in the Daily Mail.
Telling the story of two teachers who run a boarding school and are accused of having an affair by a pupil, director Ian Rickson told Bamigboye that the story is also about the culture of suing and litigation.
Knightley is set to perform as Karen Wright and Moss is to play the part of Martha Dobie.
It is thought that the Comedy Theatre will be the venue for the production, with the opening scheduled for February 2011.
The Children's Hour was last produced in the West End in 1994 at the National Theatre with Clare Higgins and Harriet Walter.
A film of the story was produced in 1961 starring Audrey Hepburn and Shirley MacLaine.
