Lady Gaga hits one billion YouTube views
Lady Gaga has become the first person to have their YouTube videos viewed one billion times.
The American singer is the most watched person on the video-sharing site after her hits including Bad Romance and Just Dance saw off close competition from teen star Justin Beiber.
The figures were taken from her official LadyGagaVEVO account, with the Metro estimating that the numbers equate to 21 people globally tuning in to one of her tracks every second since the account was set-up in May 2009.
However, she does not have the title of the most watched individual video, as that crown belongs to Beiber, with more than 365 million views of his debut single Baby.
Lady Gaga is back in the UK for further dates on her world tour, stopping off for shows in Dublin on October 26th, 27th and 28th 2010 before two dates in Belfast on October 30th and November 1st and 2nd.
