Leona Lewis recommends Avenue Q
Leona Lewis has suggested that theatregoers book Avenue Q tickets after attending the show this week.
The musical has been widely compared with Sesame Street but features distinctly adult overtones, as showcased in songs such as The Internet is For Porn and Everyone's a Little Bit Racist.
However, Lewis seemed to be lapping up the politically incorrect show at London's Wyndham's Theatre.
Writing on her Twitter page, she said: "It's just hilarious - go see it if you haven't already."
Lewis said she had "such a laugh" watching Avenue Q, which she has already been to see once before.
The singer, whose hits include Bleeding Love, A Moment Like This, Better in Time and Forgive Me, subsequently went backstage to meet with the exotic characters and the production team.
Lewis is currently working on her third studio album, which she recently revealed will be quite different from her previous releases.
