Michael Jackson tribute to be unveiled at West End theatre
Michael Jackson fans with Thriller Live tickets will soon be able to see a permanent memorial to the late singer.
A plaque in his honour will be unveiled in the foyer of the Lyric Theatre, the West End venue where the show is being staged.
The tribute will be erected later this week in time for the first anniversary of the pop legend's death.
Jackson died last year at the age of 50, just before a series of planned gigs at the O2 Arena in London.
Meanwhile, Billboard has marked the anniversary by compiling statistics to determine which is Jackson's most popular song.
Rock With You, Beat It and Billie Jean all ranked highly, as did I'll Be There by the Jackson 5.
However, these were all trumped by Say Say Say, his 1983 collaboration with former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney.
Relations between the two music giants later soured when Jackson bought the rights to most of The Beatles' back catalogue.
