Full Cast Revealed for the Upcoming West End Adaptation Opening Late this Year

Back in June it was revealed that Tom Chambers and Aled Jones would be appearing in White Christmas at the Dominion Theatre, one of the first shows to be announced following the closure of We Will Rock You at the venue. The production is currently set to open at the theatre in November (following the return of Evita) and, as that date draws nearer, more names have been announced via London theatre Guide.

So whilst Jones and Chambers had already been revealed alongside Louise Bowden, Graham Cole, Wendi Peters and Rachel Stanley, a full list of further performers have now been added to the list.

White Christmas is an Irving Berlin musical that began life as a 1950s movie of the same name. It eventually found its way to the stage on both sides of the Atlantic with famous touring productions and following a Broadway run in 2008 the show finally lands in the West End.

In it we meet the characters of Bob Wallace (Jones) and Phil Davis (Chambers), former army members who take on a big task in attempting to save a Vermont ski lodge. Their former general owners the property and it is struggling financially so it is up to them to put on a big show, alongside a pair of sisters, to help him out.

Those with theatre tickets enjoy live performances of songs such as Let Yourself Go, I’ve Got My Love To Keep Me Warm and, of course, White Christmas.

Aled Jones is best known as the singer and presenter who performed the single Walking In The Air, based on the song that appears in the film The Snowman, and for presenting shows like Christmas Carols On ITV. He was also famously a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing.

And thanks to the new cast announcement he can now look forward to appearing alongside the likes of Karen Aspinall, Michelle Bishop, Emma Caffrey, Matt Cheney, Matt Clark, Phil Cole, Tatum Confrey, Brendan Cull, Vicki Davids, Jennifer Davison, Lori Haley Fox, Jonathan Halliwell, Grace Holdstock, Jonny Labey, Lucinda Lawrence, Joshua Lay, Ross McLaren, Gary Murphy, Eddie Myles, Helen Patching, Sophia Pettet, Emily Robins, Hayley Reed, Vikki-Marie Ryan, Amy Snudden, Anthony Whiteman and Stuart Winter.

White Christmas is at the Dominion Theatre from Wednesday 12th November 2014 (previews from Saturday 8th November 2014) to Saturday 3rd January 2015.
