Much Ado About Nothing show sees Tennant and Tate share stage
Fans of David Tennant and Catherine Tate's time on screen together on Doctor Who may be pleased to hear they will be reuniting for a Much Ado About Nothing adaptation.
The pair will star in a West End production of the classic William Shakespeare tale taking place at Wyndham's Theatre from June 1st to September 3rd 2011.
Tennant has not worked with Tate since they played the lead roles in Doctor Who and the actress revealed to BBC News that she agreed to tread the boards in the theatre performance when she received a call from the former Timelord.
While no other casting decisions have been announced, the inclusion of the two British stars as Beatrice and Benedick is sure to prompt many theatre goers to consider booking tickets for the production.
Commenting on the relationship of the two characters, Tate told the Daily Telegraph: "There's a lot of chemistry between them and I've wanted to do this play with David for years, so we went to [the producers] with the idea."
