Muse are very exciting, says Status Quo star
Muse have been hailed as a very exciting band by Status Quo's bass player John "Rhino" Edwards.
Speaking to UltimateGuitar.com, the musician revealed he is a big fan of the group, who are performing in the UK next month.
Edwards, whose hits with Quo include In the Army Now and You'll Come 'Round, said this is partly because they put a lot into their live shows.
"They're one of the few bands for me that keep giving a lot of energy," he commented.
The Quo star went on to single out Muse's bassist Chris Wolstenholme for praise, describing him as a "hot player".
"He can really play and he can really rock," Edwards stated.
The admiration appears to be mutual, as Muse have frequently played parts of Quo's 1988 hit Burning Bridges in their live performances.
Quo frontman Francis Rossi has already revealed that he is also a big fan of the group.
Speaking to Undercover Music last year, the guitarist said: "I love them to death".
