Oklahoma! 'gets great reactions'
Theatre-goers who are set to see a performance of Oklahoma! will not be disappointed, the show's star has stated.
Marti Webb told the Norwich Evening News that she is delighted to be able to take part in the current tour of the production of the Rogers and Hammerstein classic as to many people the familiar songs, such as Oh What A Beautiful Morning, are like an "old friend".
"You get such different reactions from people," she explained.
"It's always like a fresh show, it's never stale because the audiences are so different."
Webb, who is performing in the role of Aunt Eller, added that she is relishing the opportunity to take on a part that requires more acting than singing.
The production began its run in Cardiff in April and is still set to make stops in Manchester and Bradford before closing in Derry on November 20th 2010.
