Paul Heaton goes on UK tour
He will start with a gig at the O2 Academy in Liverpool on September 20th and play nine concerts in the UK in total.
The former Beautiful South and Housemartins member will then appear in Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham, London and Sheffield, before playing two gigs in the capital.
All the dates are in September.
Prior to the gigs, Heaton will play at Glastonbury and the V Festival.
Heaton has also revealed that his new album is called Acid Country.
It follows the acclaimed 2008 album The Cross Eyed Rambler.
Heaton is known for producing satirical and political lyrics, having penned songs such as The People Who Grinned Themselves to Death.
One of his projects is the Pedals and Pumps tour, in which he is cycling around 16 English pubs to fight to keep them open while promoting eco-friendly transport.
