Professor Green gets advice from Liam Gallagher
Professor Green might decide to leave his rapping days behind him if he listens to the advice of his childhood hero.
The performer has told how he was approached at a recent party by Liam Gallagher who offered him some musical guidance.
Speaking to the Sun, Professor Green, whose real name is Stephen Paul Manderson, said that the former Oasis frontman spun him round and told him to give up rapping.
But he added that he "liked his tones" and should focus more on singing instead.
"I was listening to his music as a child so for him to be the one coming up to me was incredible," the 26-year-old I Need You Tonight performer added.
Fans of the Hackney-based star can find out if he does indeed take the advice of Gallagher when he goes on tour in December 2010.
Shows have been scheduled to start in Inverness on December 9th and end with a homecoming performance in London on December 15th.
