Rock 'n' roll fans expected to attend Blues Brothers premiere
Fans of rock 'n' roll are expected to turn up to the premier of the Blues Brothers - Live musical next month.
On October 12th 2010, the production will open at the Arts Theatre in the West End, London, after selling out shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe earlier this summer.
Audiences can expect to hear Jake and Elwood Blues put on a "raucous" live performance, with American blues, soul and rock 'n' roll songs all being belted out.
A review on Broadway Baby could encourage visitors to head to London to see the production after it said the show "will put you in a permanent state of happiness".
It added: "[It] will fill your head with music and make you want to dance all night long."
The Blues Brothers - Live is based on the 1980 film of the same name, starring Dan Aykroyd as Elwood Blues and John Belushi as Jake Blues.
It also featured a list of soulful celebrities including James Brown, Ray Charles and Aretha Franklin.
Visitors to the city can catch the production, directed by Patrick Wilde, until November 6th.
