Rufus Wainwright joined on stage by Kylie
Rufus Wainwright fans were given a wonderful treat over the weekend when he was joined on stage by Kylie Minogue.
The performer was taking part in the The Last Song of Summer concert at the Watermill Centre in New York on August 28th where he had invited the Australian star to join him as a special guest.
Performing together for the first time, the pair belted out some of Kylie's most popular tracks including Can't Get You Out of My Head and Locomotion, while also singing Wainwright's crowd-pleasing take on Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah.
After the event, Rufus was quick to compliment Kylie's singing, remarking that she "really has pipes", before noting that it is rare to find someone who can sing in the pop world.
It is not the first time this year that Kylie has got on stage to perform with her musical friends, as she also appeared with the Scissors Sisters at Glastonbury during the summer.
