Shakira offers showstopping first night
Shakira fans can expect to see the songstress give an outstanding performance at her shows, according to one reviewer.
Attending the opening night of the Sun Comes Out tour in Montreal, Canada, the Montreal Gazette was full of praise for the show put on by the Columbian songstress.
Although the date was officially billed as being the final rehearsal, she still pulled out all the stops with her crowd-pleasing songs ranging from her breakout English-language track Whenever, Wherever to the World Cup 2010 anthem Waka Waka (This Time for Africa).
"From start to finish, the 33-year-old singer demonstrated the confidence, charisma and natural showmanship that have made her a world-class performer over the last 15 years," the news source stated.
British fans will still have to wait a few months before they can see the show for themselves, as her Manchester, Glasgow and London shows are not scheduled until December 2010.
