Shayne Ward gig to feature Matt Cardle?
Fans of The X Factor could be in for a treat if they head to a Shayne Ward gig in the new year.
The former winner of the ITV1 talent show told OK! magazine he would love to work with Matt Cardle.
The 27-year-old explained that he likes the tone of Cardle's voice and the emotion he uses when he sings.
"I reckon that our voices would actually go pretty well together," the Manchester-born star said, predicting that the latest winner will enjoy a successful career beyond the TV show thanks to his ability to connect with the audience.
People with pop tickets to see Ward perform in 2011 may be lucky enough to hear a duet performed by the two stars.
Ward won the X Factor title in 2005 and went on to clinch the Christmas number one spot with That's My Goal, a feat that was replicated this month by Cardle with his track When We Collide.
