Take That tour now sold out
Tickets for Take That's 2011 tour have now completely sold out, despite the band adding an extra 11 dates.
Fans raced to get their hands on tickets for the initial run of dates for the band's Progress Live tour from 09:00 BST on Friday October 29th 2010, with these shows fast selling out.
Extra dates in venues including Sunderland, Dublin and Glasgow were added to the tour throughout the day, with BBC News reporting that all shows had sold out as of October 30th.
It is thought that the group sold one million tickets on Friday alone, with vendor Ticketmaster stating it had seen a greater volume of traffic for these tickets than when the dates for Michael Jackson's planned This Is It tour were released.
Take That are now set to perform on 25 dates around the UK during May, June and July next year, including seven-night residencies in both the City of Manchester stadium and London's Wembley Stadium.
