Texas gig planned for forest venue
People planning to attend a forthcoming Texas gig could be heading to an unusual venue as the band are set to play in a forest.
The Scottish group are scheduled to play at the Westonbirt National Arboretum on July 17th 2011.
Kicking off the venue's summer music season that will also see Scouting for Girls and Erasure play to people with concert tickets, frontwoman Sharleen Spiteri and the rest of the group will be performing some of their most popular hits.
Despite forming back in the 1980s and seeing some success with their debut hit I Don't Want A Lover, it was not until the release of the 1997 album White On Blonde that the group became a household name.
They have seen their singles and albums place high in the UK charts ever since and Spiteri may have gained them new fans after her recent appearance as a judge on the Sky 1 talent show Must Be The Music.
