The Mousetrap extends its booking period in the West End
It has been announced that the booking period for The Mousetrap in London's West End has been extended once more.
According to the play's official website, theatre tickets will now be available until at least May 14th 2011 at St Martin's Theatre.
However, given that The Mousetrap has been running since November 25th 1952, it is unlikely that next spring will see the end of the popular Agatha Christie adaptation.
A classic murder mystery, The Mousetrap tells the story of a grisly murder at an inn and anyone who goes to see it is requested not to reveal the culprit to keep the ending a secret.
However, Wikipedia came under fire earlier this month after it emerged that the site had published the denouement without warning readers about the spoiler.
Christie's grandson Matthew Prichard told the Independent it is "a pity" and joined calls from fans to alter the offending article.
