Wu-Tang Clan perform Beatles cover at London show
The Wu-Tang Clan gave a classic track a surprise new sound during the final night of their UK tour.
Taking to the stage of the London O2 Brixton Academy, the American rap group provided their own rendition of the Beatles track Come Together.
As the first track from the Abbey Road album was boomed out by the sound system, lead performer RZA rapped over the top to the delight and applause of the audience.
Playing their first UK dates in three years, the band had to apologise to the crowd for the absence of Method Man, who is currently filming episodes of the TV programme CSI.
Tracks performed included Reunited and Triumph, with the band playing the song Gravel Pit, their only UK singles chart success, before returning to the stage to perform their encore.
Originally comprised of nine members, the Wu-Tang Clan first began performing together in 1993 and released the album Enter the Wu-Tang Clan (36 Chambers) that year.
