Yelle show 'hugely anticipated'
A music writer has described how much he is looking forward to a Yelle show in New York and suggested people may begin to hear a lot more about the band in 2011.
Ryan Bockington explained in the New York Post that the French group have been garnering praise from influential artists such as Robyn, Mika and MIA in recent times.
He remarked: "While they speak almost no English on their tunes, the beats and production of the French singles have caught the US pop world's attention like a hooker on a playground."
Yelle was founded by the band's lead singer - who bears the same stage name - alongside producer GrandMarnier in 2005, with the pair inviting Tepr to join their group before releasing their first album in 2007.
Mr Bockington highlighted how the act was tasked with remixing a Katy Perry song recently and claimed Yelle are set to appear as guests on several albums in the coming year.
