Access/ How to Get There
The Piccadilly Theatre is found on Denham Street in London, which is just behind Piccadilly Theatre to the South, bringing it within close proximity to an abundance of well known theatres that make up the West End. The nearest include the Lyric Theatre, the Apollo Theatre, the Gielgud Theatre, The Queen’s Theatre, the Prince of Wales Theatre and the Criterion. Its position on Denham Street also brings it within close proximity to Sherwood Street (it is found on the corner of these two streets).
There are a number of tube stations within the area, though the nearest is Piccadilly Circus to the south of the venue (others within a relatively short distance in include Oxford Circus and Leicester Square). Meanwhile, for those arriving via the railway, the nearest train station takes the form of Charing Cross.
But there will also be visitors arriving via the road and as a result there are a number of buses operating in the area that will bring visitors to, or close to, the Piccadilly Theatre. Meanwhile, the venue’s participation with the Theatreland Parking Scheme means that theatregoers can find discounts (see the Transport for London website for details). There are also MasterParks and NCPs car parks within the area.
Inside the building there are disabled toilets available for those that require them, in addition to further facilities for disabled patrons. Wheelchair space is provided in the auditorium, including Row A of the Royal Circle and a box accessed on Sherwood Street.
Guide dogs are permitted inside the venue, though not inside the auditorium (3 total), whilst hearing aides are provided for those hard-of-hearing.
