Access/ How to Get There
As the Criterion Theatre is located in Piccadilly Circus, it is near to a host of other theatres that are located in the West End. Her Majesty’s Theatre is found on nearby Haymarket, with the Theatre Royal Haymarket in a similar area. The Prince of Wales Theatre is located nearby, as well as the Piccadilly Theatre and the host of venues that are located on Shaftesbury Avenue. As it is in a central London location, the usually amenities can also be found.

For those arriving at the venue via the London Underground, the nearest tube station can be found at Piccadilly Circus (on the Piccadilly and Bakerloo lines), with the venue immediately visible upon exiting the station. The nearest railway station takes the form of Charing Cross for those arriving by train.

Meanwhile, for those arriving at the Criterion Theatre by road, there are a number of bus services that operate in the area. For car users, there are various car parks in use, including an NCP on Denman Street, Leicester Place and MasterParks found on Whitcomb Street and Trafalgar Square. However, as car parking can be hard to find and expensive in central London, public transport is better advised.

In terms of disabled access, there are two spaces for wheelchair users in the auditorium, which can be found near C20, with transfer seats available in the Upper and Dress Circles (Scooter users will have to use the transfer seats). Access to the venue is from Jermyn Street, near the stage door and wheelchair and scooter users should inform the venue of their attendance in advance. From this entrance, the disabled toilets can be found on the right en-route to the Upper Circle.

For those that are hard-of-hearing, there is a loop system that is available to use, whilst those that are visually impaired are permitted to bring guide dogs inside the auditorium.
