A reasonably-sized West End venue, the New London Theatre has a capacity greater than 1,000 on 2 levels: the Stalls and the Dress Circle. The Stalls stretch back from the stage beginning at row D and going through to row U, with a maximum of 64 seats across (there are also aisles running through the stalls and areas where there are less-than 64 seats across). The Dress Circle, meanwhile, stretches back from row A to E with a maximum of 49 seats across. This makes for a total of 1,040 seats on 2 levels.
Once patrons have entered the foyer they will find the Box Office on their right and they can then access the auditorium: 32 steps go up to the Stalls (though as it is sloping this increases to 41 for the rear of the Stalls), whilst 65 steps lead up to the Dress Circle, with further steps between rows.
