Access/ How to Get There
As the Vaudeville Theatre is located on the Strand, it is near to a host of amenities and attractions that one might expect to find in the centre of London. It is also close to other West End theatre such as the Adelphi Theatre, the Garrick Theatre, the Duke of York’s Theatre, the Noel Coward Theatre and the Wyndham’s Theatre. London’s Coliseum is also found nearby at the bottom of St Martin’s Lane.

For those arriving at the venue by London Underground, the nearest tube station can be found at Charing Cross, though Embankment is also nearby. Leicester Square tube station and Covent Garden are also in the vicinity, though Charing Cross is likely to remain the destination of choice. For those arriving by train, Charing Cross is also the nearest railway station.

Meanwhile, for those arriving by road, the Vaudeville Theatre is served by a number of bus services that operate in the area. Likewise, there are plenty of car parks, with an NCP on Drury Lane nearby, as well as a council-run car park located at Spring Gardens in Trafalgar Square. So the venue can be easily accessed by a number of different means.

In terms of disabled access, the Vaudeville Theatre contains an AAT Major stair climber to access higher levels that can only be accessed by stairs (though guests requiring them should arrive around forty-five minutes early for assistance). Spaces can be created in the auditorium at seats S8 to S11, with transfer seats available on any aisle seat on the left hand portion of the Stalls. Dress Circle can be accessed by the Exit on Lumley Court Road, though toilets are difficult to access from here. Unfortunately there are currently no disabled toilets, though visitors can use the nearby Adelphi Theatre.

There is no system currently in place for those that are hard-of-hearing. However, for visually impaired guests, guide dogs are permitted inside the auditorium, with alternative arrangements can be made for staff members to dog sit (such arrangements should be made in advance of your visit).
