The London Palladium is amongst the biggest venues in the West End (behind the London Coliseum and the Apollo Victoria Theatre) and as such has a capacity of more than 2,000 over 3 levels: The Stalls, the Royal Circle and the Upper Circle. The Stalls stretch back from rows A to XX, with a maximum of 50 seats across. Beyond this the Royal Circle stretches back from rows A to L with a maximum of 56 seats across. Finally, the Upper Circle stretches from rows A to M with a maximum of 55 seats across. This makes for a total of 2,291 seats on 3 levels.
Once patrons have found themselves in the foyer, access can be made to the Stalls by 3 steps leading up from the foyer and then a further 12 steps leading down with a sloping corridor then leading to the Stalls themselves. To gain access to the Royal Circle patrons must traverse 26 steps leading up (with further steps found on the sloping Royal Circle itself, with steps between rows) whilst the Upper Circle can be accessed by 47 steps leading up.
