Access/ How to Get There
As the Trafalgar Studios are located in Whitehall, near Trafalgar Square, they are near to a variety of other London theatres, amongst them West End venues like Her Majesty’s Theatre, The Theatre Royal Haymarket and the Playhouse Theatre, in addition to the nearby London Coliseum on St Martin’s Lane. As it is a building found in central London, it is also near to an array of amenities one would expect to find in a city centre.

For those arriving at the theatre by London Underground, the nearest tube station takes the form of Charing Cross, with Embankment also located nearby. Meanwhile, those arriving by train are likely to depart at Charing Cross Railway Station.

For those arriving at Trafalgar Studios by road, there are a wide range of bus services operating in the area which will give audiences easy access to the theatre. Meanwhile, for those choosing car as their mode of transport, there is an NCP at Bedfordbury, in addition to a council-run car park located in Trafalgar Square.

In terms of disabled access, the Trafalgar Studios does not have space for wheelchair users needing to remain in their chairs, however transfer seats are available and can be found in Rows A and K, with three spaces and one space available respectively. Access to the former is through the Bar in the Stalls and the latter via fourteen steps, which will require the help of two companions. The space restrictions mean that the venue can only store three wheelchairs during each performance and scooters are not suitable for the theatre.

For those guests that are hard-of-hearing there is an infra-red system in the auditorium that audiences can access via headsets available from the Box Office (16 in total, with a deposit required). For visually impaired guests, guide dogs are permitted inside the auditorium, though an aisle seat would be required and prior contact is required before the performance. Staff members can dog sit if necessary.
