Access/ How to Get There
The Theatre Royal, Drury Lane is located on Catherine Street within the City of Westminster and as a result it is close to a number of well known landmarks, tube stations and other West End venues (the Fortune Theatre, the Duchess Theatre, the Novello Theatre, the New London theatre and The London Coliseum are amongst those nearby). As the venue is also a well known West End theatre, it is also within close proximity to the famous London street, the Strand, with Kingsway and Aldwych also nearby.
The closest public transport link is the underground station located at Covent Garden, however Charing Cross, Holborn, Embankment and Temple are also relatively close. If you are arriving at the venue via car then there are a number of car parking facilities to choose from, including the NCP on Parker Mews, which is located off Drury Lane. However, it should be noted that those choosing to arrive by car will also have to pay congestion charges during the daytime (from 7am to 6pm).
The theatre itself faces onto Catherine Street, with pillars framing the doorway and the box office located behind the front doors and to the right. Signs will guide audiences to the various areas of the auditorium (Stalls, Upper Circle etc.) with access via stairs. For disabled guests, there is a dedicated host to help patrons with their needs.
