The Book of Mormon - on Broadway

Age Restriction: Recommended for Adults and Teens

Say ‘Hello!’ to the Mormons at The Book of Mormon, a show combining maggots, missions and religion at the Eugene O’ Neill Theatre. Written by the creators behind South Park, it’s a smash-hit musical that the New York Times has called ‘the best musical of this century’, with original songs titled ‘Baptize Me’ and ‘Joseph Smith American Moses’. So, head ‘Two by Two’ to the theatre with tickets to see The Book of Mormon.

As Elder Price and Elder Cunningham are sent on a mission to Uganda, the unlikely pair form a close friendship, learning a great deal from each other. Yet, when Elder Cunningham’s growing fondness to Nabulungi and Elder Price believing in the Lord God begins to convert the locals, will they be able to spread the word of Mormonism?

The Book of Mormon has established itself as a Broadway smash hit, but it’s not the only long-running production to storm the Great White Way. Audiences can visit Agrabah and ride theatre’s magic carpet at Aladdin or defy gravity at Wicked. But, if you’re looking for a show that toes the line between cutting-edge and downright risky while laughing throughout, you’ll want to book tickets for The Book of Mormon now.
