The Play That Goes Wrong - on Broadway

Age Restriction: Might not be suitable for younger children

A British hybrid of Monty Python and Sherlock Holmes, The Play that Goes Wrong continues its New York theatre journey at New World Stages. Presented by Mischief Theatre, it’s an upbeat, energetic fun where everything that goes wrong is so right! Considered to be tons of fun for all ages, make sure you’ve got your ticket to the silliest comedy in town at The Play That Goes Wrong.

Welcome to opening night of The Murder at Haversham Manor, the latest annual play performed by the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society. In a show where things are quickly going from bad to utterly disastrous. With an unconscious leading lady, a corpse that can’t play dead, and actors who trip over everything (including their lines, will the cast make it to curtain up?

The Play That Goes Wrong is one of many British productions to have transferred to Broadway, including the now Tony Award-winning productions of Ink and The Ferryman. But, if you’re looking for a comedy explosion to unfold on stage that’s filled with over the top characters, make sure you’ve got your tickets to The Play That Goes Wrong.
