All or Nothing The Mod Musical

Get ready to celebrate all things mod rock from March as All or Nothing: The Mod Rock Musical heads to the Ambassadors Theatre.

Joining various other jukebox musicals in the West End, like Motown the Musical and Thriller Live, All Or Nothing was another chance to celebrate a musical style in the capital when the Mod Rock production previously appeared at the Arts Theatre. Now it heads to the former home of Stomp and presents West End audiences with a continued look at the band Small Faces.

The work of actress and writer Carol Harrison, All Or Nothing takes audiences back to the 1960s when the country was taken by storm with Mod, the counter-culture movement that included a way of life and a style of music. Amongst those Mods was Steve Marriot, the singer and guitarist of Small Faces, who had a range of hits in the 1960s, and this show will explore the rise of that band as their hit songs are performed and their story is told.

If audiences recognise the name of writer Carol Harrison it is possibly because they have seen her in a range of television programmes. Since the 1970s she has been a regular on our screens in shows like EastEnders, Casualty and The Bill, with many other performances on other shows in between. With All Or Nothing, however, she has scored a hit of a different kind as she utilises her love of the Mod scene to bring a totally unique show to a British stage.

She plays Kay Marriot at the Ambassadors Theatre alongside Chris Simmons, who returns to play the role of the iconic Steve Marriot.

All Or Nothing ran at the Arts Theatre from early February 2018 and its success there ensures the next set of London theatregoers gets the chance to witness the magic unfold at the Ambassadors Theatre. With songs like Tin Soldier, Whatcha Gonna Do About It, Lazy Sunday and title track All Or Nothing, it will provide audiences with a toe-tapping good time that will stay in minds for some time to come.

All Or Nothing – The Mod Musical makes its anticipated appearance at the Ambassadors Theatre in London’s West End from Wednesday 28th March 2018.
