Burt Bacharach - Who would have thought that at 88 years old this legend could put on such a fantastic show? The music just went on and on - a dream come true for me. I am going again to the Royal Festival Hall and I can't wait A truly talented man who is behind so many of the amazing songs we know and love today. Guest star appearances from Marc Almond, Rumer (amazing), Rick Astley and someone I'd never heard of - Norma Jean Martine. She, I think, stole the show with her song written with Burt Bacharach. If you can go to a Burt Bacharach concert, do go - you won't be disappointed. He's just amazing!

In the London equivalent of La Scala, Bacharach and his special guests were outstanding. What beats Rumer singing Close to you, evoking the spirit of Karen Carpenter like no one alive could. Rick Astley was also outstanding in This Guys In Love, and the 20 violins & other strings added magic. The Maestro himself played beautiful piano for 2 hours and sang as well, with his 3 very fine backers.
