This Argentinean showcase of percussive dance and the lives of the gaucho finally makes its way to the United Kingdom in July 2018, providing West End theatregoers with the chance to see a marvellous physical show full of breathtaking dance and awe-inspiring music.
Che Malambo combines a range of disciplines to create a show that celebrates Argentinean traditions, mixing the 19th century gauchos (South American cowboys) with other styles of the era to create something truly remarkable and international. So expect percussive dance mixed with disciplines from a range of countries and resulting in great success.
It is the work of Gilles Brinas, who has had great success with the production for well over a decade, and lands at the Peacock Theatre, the perfect location for an international success story to play in the West End.
The Peacock Theatre is the West End outlet for Sadler’s Wells, providing Theatreland audiences with the international dance sensations for which Sadler’s is known. 2018 brings a host of shows to the venue, including the triple bill of TriOperas, consisting of Turandot, Madame Butterfly and Carmen.
