Explosion UK Tour

An unforgettable dance production heads to the stage of the Lyric Theatre for one night only in 2015, giving West End crowds the chance to experience traditional flamenco and more, as put together by an experienced performer in the form of Jay Markwick.

Explosion sees a team of enormously talented performers take to the stage and provide a fiery spectacle that audiences will remember for some time to come. From ballet to contemporary dance, this is something that will stay in the mind and provide an impressive demonstration of how dance can be used to tell a unique and passionate story of love. A celebration of traditional flamenco in the first half and contemporary styles like street and more in the second, this is not something that dance fans will want to miss.

Jay Markwick is a young talent and whilst born in the UK he has made his name for his Spanish styles of dance. Not only has he appeared on Britain’s Got Talent, for example, he has also been crowned The Pride of Spain. He has worked with some of the biggest names in flamenco and is more than capable of inspiring the same passion in his audiences that he already has for this classic form of dance.

It appears at the West End’s Lyric Theatre, offering even more opportunities to see stand out dance routines alongside those already offered at locations such as Sadler’s Wells and the Peacock Theatre.

With the venue regularly putting on performances of the Michael Jackson celebration Thriller Live, the Lyric Theatre welcomes Explosion for one night only on Sunday 27th April 2015.
