Every summer, crowds descend upon Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre to see one of the season’s must-see productions. Opening a season including A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Our Town and Evita is Hansel and Gretel. A brother and sister duo, Hansel And Gretel are the brother and sister who find themselves at the mercy of the witch, whose house is made if sweets, as they attempt to outsmart her and use their wits to make their escape. Finding themselves inside an oven, Hansel and Gretel have to save themselves in order to protect each other and future children who may end up in the presence of the Gingerbread witch.

As a story popularised by the Brothers Grimm, Hansel and Gretel has transformed into one of the greatest fairytales along the likes of Rumpelstiltskin and the Pied Piper. See the tale of Hansel and Gretel come to life in this spellbinding production as it’s adapted for a 21st century audience.
