The recommended age for this show is 3+ but BE WARNED, in my opinion, this ballet is not suitable for any child who might be scared of any 'dark' story lines. The black fairy and her minions were extremely frightening. I think this production is really only suitable for 5+.

There are also a few random, unnecessary, characters, eg Puss in Boots, Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf, who were added in, no doubt to extend the running time and to justify the cost.

I am not knocking the show as the ballet was very enjoyable and the running narrative, with sign language, excellent. Just be aware that it might not be suitable for the younger recommended age range.
