The Charing Cross Theatre presents this new rock and pop musical version of the Greek myth of Persephone, with director Sarah O’Gleby taking audiences on a comic and memorable journey through some iconic mythological figures in a new and unique way.

The production runs at the London location from early October, with Marcus Stevens providing a story that takes the Greek myth of Persephone, daughter of Demeter and Zeus, and gives it a modern makeover. So along the way expect rock and pop music alongside a story that deals with Persephone’s relationship with her mother Demeter.

Director Sarah O’Gleby is a well known choreographer and director for stage and events who has worked around the world alongside top names and for some of the world’s biggest showcases. For Mythic she now heads to London, working with lyricist and writer Marcus Stevens and musician Oran Eldor to create this truly unmissable production.

And it all comes to the Charing Cross Theatre, the central London location that has housed many interesting shows over the years. Previously known as the New Players Theatre it continues to be a unique and valuable stomping ground for some of the world’s most talented people.

Mythic plays at the Charing Cross Theatre from Monday 1st October 2018.
