The Arts Theatre provides some Christmas cheer this holiday season as it presents Ollie Birch’s wonderful children’s show Secret Santa from mid-December. With some great performers and talented people working behind the scenes this is bound to be something that young theatregoers will relish.

The heart warming story focuses on the eight-year-old Holly, who has struck up a friendship with the old man next door. But Holly knows that he is in fact Santa Claus and with that in mind it is going to be up to her when everything goes wrong just before Christmas Eve!

The production has been directed by Jonathan Humphreys, who has previously brought some successful shows to stages around the country, including Mojo Mickybo at the West End’s Trafalgar Studios (when he was only 22!). He has also worked extensively for the Sheffield Crucible on shows like The Village Bike and Boeing Boeing and helmed Krapp’s Last Tape at the Hull Truck Theatre.

So he is more than qualified to bring life to this magical tale of friendship and Christmas cheer as Holly tries her best to save Christmas! Make sure you are first in line!

Secret Santa runs at the West End’s Arts Theatre from Sunday 18th December 2016.
