what a fantastic show, went last December and we were all rocking in our seats, perfect for the West End
Fantastic show second time we have seen this show there has been a change of cast since the last time but just as good we thoroughly enjoyed it once again
If I could give this 6 stars I would!!
We have watched the show today (6th Feb 2016) and all of us were simply blown away. Fantastic singing and acting by all and we didn't want the show to end. The standing ovation was very much deserved. The actors gave everything and that was clear for all to see. Yes it's quite loud at the beginning, but not for long and we were right at the front. The whole theatre was up and dancing at the end. Brilliant brilliant brilliant! Up there with the best I've seen. Would definitely recommend going to see this show, it's worth every penny. I want to go AGAIN!!! Well done guys.
We are sure the complete show was good but after the first half the three of us had to leave the theatre because of how loud the music was. We are sure that the audience and the actors will suffer with tinitus or some such other ear problems with the loudness of the music. The three of us felt that because it was loud it took away the enjoyment that we were expecting of the show. the story was good and acting/singing excellent. We would very much have liked to have seen the whole show, but wth one of us with ear plugs in and the other two with fingers in ears it spoilt it for us. Also, we have been to many musicals/shows in London and other cities and this is the first time that we left at the interval because of the noise level.
What a fabulous show, put hairs on the back of your neck, just a shame the seats are not a bit more comfy!! One of the best shows we have ever seen, without a doubt.
It had to be absaloutly great show. when sound and singing it will become a great music. Ray Davies is also novel and is suposed to get award. Thank the woemean in ticket office about the ticket 1 hour before the show. We were there 29 dec 2015. I have been kinks fan since 1963. Thank you for excelent show.
Went to see this on Saturday 2nd as a birthday treat and wow this show is the best I have ever seen not only because of the outstanding caste who are great musicians but because it made me proud to be a Londoner and took me back to the seventies when I grew up and brought back nostalgic memories of my mum singing Waterloo sunset whilst washing up. She died young and this sort of story reminds me of the poor working class who struggled through life and only had the radio and music to escape the hum drum and everyday money worries . Well captured and a brilliant caste . Well done . I loved it !!!
Too loud in the beginning, and it hurts your ears! Good lively show, would recommend to friends.
Best show I have ever seen and I have seen a lot . Atmosphere amazing ,music awesome singing amazing. Everyone up dancing and singing at the end just gave you goose bumps. Well done to all cast and crew. On,y one negative the prices at the bar ridiculous if they had made them a reasonable price we would have bought more (drop your prices) .
An absolute must, can't rate this musical highly enough. If you want a real feel good nostalgic night then this is for you. Excellent.
