Annie-B Parson of Big Dance Theater heads to the Old Vic Theatre with her latest audio-visual dance showcase 17c, which takes a look at the diaries of Samuel Pepys in the 17th century.

Pepys was, of course, the MP who lived in the 1600s and was well known for his diary and 17c provides audiences with an examination of them through the art of music and dance, with further audio-visual showcases along the way, creating something that will be a treat for the senses as we explore his infidelities, bullying nature and other shocking behaviours. It makes for an interesting piece to explore on the stage.

It has taken a lot of talented people to bring this to the Old Vic, but the most familiar name to audiences is undoubtedly Anne-B Parson, who directs and created the show. As founder of Big Dance Theater she has been behind some stand-out dance productions around the world such as This Page Intentionally Left Blank, Man In A Case and Supernatural Wife, amongst a host of others. She has also collaborated with some of the most gifted creative talents in the world.

So now she presents 17c at the Old Vic Theatre, presenting the show for the first time in the UK after it achieved success on the other side of the Atlantic. It plays at the London venue from Wednesday 26th September 2018.
