Aliens Love Underpants (Until June)

If any kids out there are looking for a hilarious and fun-filled stage show this summer then the latest production heading to the Dominion Theatre could be the right ticket. The venue plays host to little green men from August as the adaptation of the children’s book Aliens Love Underpants head to the stage.

The original book was put together by Claire Freedman and Ben Cort and it has been around for almost a decade. During this time it has managed to attract many fans and it’s likely that they’ll be alongside London theatregoers eager to pick up theatre tickets.

As you might have guessed from the title, Aliens Love Underpants deals with creatures from outer space as they head to our planet for a unique reason. It turns out that, whilst there are plenty of fun things to do in space, it’s certainly lacking in pants! So they come to Earth where they get into some hilarious, memorable and fun antics.

And there to make sure all of this is as fun as it can be is director Adam Bampton-Smith, who arrives in the West End having entertained audiences across the country and many previously successful shows. So whether you are a fan of one of his previous hits like Don’t Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus! (which he wrote) or if you are new to his work, then Aliens Love Underpants should be your next stop.

In a year that also sees children’s shows like The Gruffalo at the Lyric Theatre and The Three Little Pigs at the Palace Theatre, it is a great time for younger crowds to head to the West End. Aliens Love Underpants, meanwhile, runs at the Dominion Theatre from Saturday 1st August 2015.
