In recent years one of the biggest success stories for the Royal Court Theatre has been Cyprus Avenue, which played at the venue in 2016. Returning to the theatre by popular demand after performances in New York, Dublin and Belfast, Cyprus Avenue is one of the biggest success stories for the Royal Court Theatre. Stephen Rea reprises his role of Eric Miller and working under the direction of Vicky Featherstone. So, if you want to see a West End success story that’s entertained audiences for years, you’ll want to see Cyprus Avenue.

The character of Eric Miller has a unique and unusual problem – he believes that his baby granddaughter is in fact a disguised Gerry Adams. The show follows Miller as he deals with his past, which placed him in the Troubles in Northern Ireland, whilst facing a new world that has moved on. The play follows one man as he struggles with the past as well as being fearful about his future.

This is a show that has to be seen, with audiences and critics responding to the darkness of its humour and the stand-out performances. Returning to the Royal Court for a limited four week run, this is a riveting, exciting comedy with darker twists and turns that’s sure to excite all audience members.
