Dad's Army Radio Show

Based on the BBC sitcom that aired from 1968 to 1977, Dad’s Army Radio Show is an homage to the show all about the British Home Guard during WW2. Later made into a radio show based on the television scripts as well as a feature film, you’ll enjoy the homage to the original at this stage production. So, if you enjoy classic British television and want to see it in the theatre, you’ll love Dad’s Army Radio Show.

As the show opens, it’ll feel as though you’ve stepped back in time hearing the sounds of the television show that generations grew up on. Throughout the production, you’ll see 25 of the show’s most loved characters played by two actors as they perform three classic radio episodes: Mum's Army, The Deadly Attachment and Round And Round Went The Great Big Wheel. Set to be an unmissable comedy feat, it’s a show with plenty of golden one-liners including the unforgettable “Don’t Tell Him Pike” that audiences have loved to hear for years.

Presenting a selection of classic radio episodes featuring your favourite lines, characters and a masterclass in vocal impersonation, get ready to tune in to Dad’s Army Radio Show. Hailed as a “two man comedy force” by the Radio Times, it’s playing at Wilton’s Music Hall for a limited engagement, you won’t want to miss out on your chance to see this spectacle.
