Derren Brown: Underground

Age Restriction: Not suitable for under 12s.

This September audiences will get another opportunity to witness the work of Derren Brown as the famous illusionist makes his latest appearance in London’s West End.

Brown’s shows have had a regular home in the capital, with his last production Miracle getting rave reviews back in 2015, just as Infamous and Svengali both did before that. This is a testament to the quality of work on offer, with Brown honing his skills over the years so that he is unarguably the biggest illusionist working in the UK (he has also taken a live show to the United States, so his power is now transatlantic).

His latest show is Underground, which previously played at the Charing Cross Theatre and now runs at the Playhouse Theatre in the West End. Whilst the show itself will feel brand new to audiences, it is a best-of that revisits some of Brown’s favourite parts of previous productions. So if you missed some of the stand-out moments of performances-gone-by then you are in luck. Likewise if you are a Derren Brown aficionado there is bound to be something to enjoy by seeing the best bits all over again.

After all Brown is not only a master of his craft, he is also a true showman and over the years audiences have come to realise that they are in safe hands when it comes to the quality of his work. From Derren Brown Live in 2003 to Something Wicked This Way Comes in 2005 and Miracle in 2015, he has regularly provided memorable experiences, whilst continuing to entertain audiences with television series, specials and even a theme park ride in the form of Derren Brown’s Ghost Train at Thorpe Park.

Derren Brown returns with Underground from Monday 11th September 2017.
