I came to Dessert with a group of 14 people from the University of the Third age. Without exception we all loved the production. Not only thought provoking but also very funny in places. I booked this for the group on the basis of the direction by Trevor Nunn and we weren't disappointed. The acting was super particularly Stephen Hagan as Eddie and the seats at £12 were a real bargain. I would expect this to transfer to the West End. I will certainly be watching out for other productions at the Southwark Playhouse.
