Education, Education, Education

Transforming Trafalgar Studio One into a haven for all things 1990s, experience the music, the fads and the icons once more at Education, Education, Education. Produced by The Wardrobe Ensemble, join German native Tobias as he finds his feet in the UK in a tumultuous time for British politics. Sure to ring the school bell loud and proud across the West End, it’s guaranteed to provide a theatrical education for any age. So, if you want to dissect political affairs at the theatre, you’ll want to see Education, Education, Education.

Set in May 1997 after Tony Blair has won the General Election for the Labour party, Great Britain is a different place to what it is today. Around the world, Britain is deemed a cool country, however the same cannot be said across secondary schools. When German native Tobias starts a career in the UK as a German language assistant, he’s met by schoolteachers who are just trying to make it through the day. With political conversations happening inside and outside of the classroom, what will happen when Tobias finds himself in a whirlpool of change?

Education, Education, Education is not the only play to discuss classroom politics in society. Currently playing at Trafalgar Studio One, Admissions follows Sherri Rosen-Mason, head of an admissions department at a prestigious school who finds that her son is not accepted to Yale University. However, educational conversations that have taken place this side of the pond are at the heart of Education, Education, Education. Playing for just four weeks, you’ll want to see what happens inside what is guaranteed to be one of the funniest classrooms in the country, so book your tickets now to this hilarious production.
