Excellent. Fiona Lindsay led the interview very well being very calm, interested and keeping control of the audience.

Tim Minchin spoke honestly, truthfully and modestly from the heart about the faltering start to his career to the ultimate pinnacle of a career which has truly rocketed to success all very quickly. He held the audience captive from beginning to end with his enthusiasm, fun, piano playing, songs, words, rantings and reminiscence of his life from his early childhood, not forgetting the things that matter the most in his life, his family in Australia, and his wife and children who he lives with in L.A.

The man is an educated unassuming genius and above all such a giving and generous person, always so willing to perform many of his shows for free to be able to give to the many charities he supports. He is a people person in every sense of the word.

The Lyric is a beautiful old theatre and a perfect venue for such 'Encounters'.
