Yet another fantastically high quality production from the Mischief Theatre team which builds to an hilarious second half of the show, but with great visual and verbal gags throughout as usual.

Would have given this 5 stars except for a "serious plot matter" that has been written into the show that interrupts the hilarity of the second half and somewhat takes the fun out of an otherwise fabulously funny show.

100% recommend this show!

Became a 'Mischief' evangelist over 'The Play That Goes Wrong' nearly four years ago and we've seen 'Peter Pan' and 'Bank Robery'. Saw 'Groan Ups' when it previewed on September 20th. There is a genius sequence about a squashed hamster in the last act that brought tears of laughter. It was in the finest traditions of farce both in its writing and acting. But the first few scenes were less successful and need the authors scissors. Cut the front-of-curtain preface, cut or shorten one of the 'growing up' sequences and fill out the reunion. Only three out of five but we've booked for 'Magic'
