After wasting lots of my hard earned money and a few precious hours of my life on the horrendous 'Birthday party' by Harold Pinter it was a joy to witness the delightful Sheila Hancock in 'Harold and Maude'. Never having seen the original movie, I approached this as just another theatrical experience.

I enjoyed it from beginning to end and loved its staging and the use of music. Using the musicians as protagonists was a master stroke. Its 'must see' theatre.
