Christmas at the Kiln comes to life with the London premiere of Snowflake, written by Mike Bartlett. As a father and daughter reconnect, it’s a play of generational clashes, conflicts and finding identities amongst a whirlpool of events. So, if you want to see a poignant, optimistic play, you’ll want to see Snowflake.
‘Because Christmas. Well… That’s when they say people come home.’ Andy’s 43. He loves nostalgic TV and pints down the Kilburn High Road. Andy hasn’t seen his 21-year-old daughter Maya in three years; the pair haven’t spoken to each other since. This Christmas, Andy knows she’s coming back – Maya knows she’s not. Snowflake is an epic story about generational conflict, fathers and daughters, and whether we’re living in the best or worst of times…
