Soul of Shaolin

Age Restriction: 6+

Combining martial arts expertise with a heartfelt story of loss and redemption, Soul of Shaolin will receive its London premiere at the Troubadour Theatre in Wembley. Nominated for Tony Awards and Drama Desk Awards, the production has been seen by audiences worldwide, captivated by the acrobatics, music and vivid, non-stop action. So, if you enjoy seeing a variety of performance styles on stage, you’ll want to see Soul of Shaolin, playing for just 18 performances.

While caught up in war and turmoil, Hui Guang is separated from his mother, left to be alone in a frightening world. Rescued by the Shaolin Monastery monks, Hui Guang begins training in Kung Fu. When fate intervenes and his mother returns, will Hui Guang be able to triumph over the barriers holding them apart? A mother’s love and a son’s struggle combine to produce a martial arts show of epic proportion.

Guaranteed to bring a high-octane, sharp production to London’s theatre scene later this year, Soul of Shaolin will be a display of the finest martial arts from around the world. Along with Heartbeat of Home, both shows will bring global styles of movement to the heart of the West End.
